Still testing the waters here this set up is different from what I have been used to,I haven't blogged for so long and I have all these thoughts and Ideas but formulating them isn't easy to type it as my brain doesn't always compute. But the thing about blogging is once you start it can get addictive, lol.I need time to adjust to this system so bear with me.I mainly take the bus to work and the other passengers are very interesting,a few I have come to know in passing as we all have jobs to go to and it can be alot of fun and make the journey easier. It gets me thinking about all of us who get off and on the bus and that metaphore applies to life and how we interact with people. Some pretend to read a magazine so as not to draw attention, those who sleep, block out the one world with their ipods blasting, checking their phones or talking on them and putting all their private business out there for all to hear it.I am not judging merely observing as I have done the same myself. It has always been this way but now there is no level of politeness anymore or just a basic courtesy.Sometimes I think we are all on that bus of life and you make a choice where to go and what path you take and the people you meet along the way some become friends, you might make enemies or you chose to walk,in the scheme of things I think now I'd rather walk.

  1. I'm a people watcher too.. I find it interesting. And I know what you mean about a politeness that is gone for normal social encounters. I don't know why but I always think of old movies and how things was in say the 30's and 40's.. Men in suits and ties, when men were gentlemen and a lady was a lady. I know that we've made great strides as women...... but in so many ways it seems we've cut our own throats.
Good post and great insight! My mind is a fog today, should have waited to reply.. I may be making zero sense, I'm not sure...lol

  2. I didn't think I was making sense when I wrote this,my mind is living in a different existence then here, lol.I agree though some changes were needed, while other things set us back too.I don't mind when I guy acts like a gentlemen I think it is great, what bothered me on the bus the other day was no one wouldn't give up their seat for a girl and it is worse when it is a guy that doesn't it would be the right or polite thing thing to do ,most men would .I always give up my seat to the elderly or a woman with a kid, etc. It seems minor but a random act of kindness goes along way in my book. And in a world like this it is a good thing.

  3. Golly Lisa that's a great observation and I'm sure the bus is better with you on it. Like you I'm still groping in the dark so if a wayward hand should accidentally come your way, slap me on the wrist and put me straight. Ha ha wishful thinking again. Now I just have to press your button.

  5. No just the doctors trying to cover their backs in case I drop dead from cholesterol and they were blamed for not prescribing statins. As you get older they like to give out more and more medication. Don't ask me why there's too many of us oldies already ha ha.
